Strapping backpack tight
And pulling cloak tighter
I set out on my journey
     To far away lands -
     Feeling the silence of unpeopled streets,
     Talking to chirping birds amidst the din of bustling cities,
     Scaling snow-capped mountain peaks,
     Hiking down green valleys,
     Soaking in the beauty of all that life is,
     Slow.
     Unhurried.


A bit about me in prose:

I am a software engineer turned civil servant. I am an officer of the Indian Revenue Service(IRS) and mother of a toddler. When I am not engaged in the pleasant task of striking a harmonious balance between the two jobs, I try to jot down thoughts that are kind enough to find me.Some of which find their way, here. The rest are mostly stacked away in my writing closet.

I hail from Coorg, which is also called Scotland of India, but reside in Bangalore.
